Rolsplicer

Rolsplicer

Overview

The Rolsplicer is designed to splice two pieces of lumber together, using nail plates, to create one long piece. The lumber and nail plates are placed on the machine in predetermined locations. The operator then starts the cycle, and two sets of cylindrical presses rotate in a timed sequence that holds the lumber, presses the lumber together and presses the plates into the lumber. The spliced piece is removed out the machine and the process is continued.

Key benefits of the Rolsplicer

The Rolsplicer is primarily used to create chords for floor trusses which can be up to 40’ long and this product is packed with benefits!

Speed

The Rolsplicer is a flow through system, which allows you to continuously produce long lengths of chords required for the trusses. Using a saw in line with the splicer, this process can be continual. Not having to splice your chords on the table frees your builders up to build and not worry about having to produce chord stock.

Safety

With a 2 handed operation and enclosed pressing area, the Rolsplicer ensures that this process is done in the safest way possible.

Reliability

The simple design of this machine means it’s something you will have running in your shop for decades.
